Full info regarding applications & requirements for all types of RP’s & link to the online application form can be found in the first group file ….There are also helpful ‘walk through’ videos to assist applicants for each type of Permit application .
” RP APPLICATION FORM & DOCUMENTS REQD.”.. then in sub files 1-4 on that page.
There are also 24+ other files on numerous topics from healthcare, motoring/ licence , renting/purchasing property ,banking, getting married in Turkey and much more……
The files in this webpage, which can be accessed via the link below are purely for information & are available FREE to everyone .
Files are updated as soon as rules or laws change, so can be guaranteed to be totally up to date.
I make no apologies for the size of some of the files, especially the RP application files.
You came here to obtain all the current information on a topic & some topics cannot be explained clearly in just a few lines. For that, please don’t blame me , blame the Turkish Authorities. 😉
Rules, Regulations & Laws change regularly in Turkey & what you read here today on a particular topic may change tomorrow so relevant files are updated daily where necessary.
NOTE …… If checking a topic now in advance,it’s imperative to check the file again just before you need the information incase there have been any changes in laws/rules/requirements etc.
THE FILES REFLECT THE INFORMATION RECEIVED FROM OFFICIAL SOURCES , GOC, DGMM, GOV. UK & BRITISH CONSULATE IN TURKEY ETC.
REGARDING RP APPLICATIONS [ MAINLY ] THERE WILL ALWAYS BE VARIATIONS IN REQUIREMENTS FROM PROVINCE TO PROVINCE,OFFICE TO OFFICE AND WHOM YOU DEAL WITH ON THE DAY. It would be impossible to keep updating with regional differences & would make too much reading & cause confusion to many members.

Regarding the Doc Martins Surgery Facebook group, it’s NOT for the usual ”chit chat’ or discussions found on many ex pat sites, please understand this is a specialised Q & A group covering important issues of Turkish officialdom encountered by expats in Turkey only.
Unless you have a specific question /query there is no need to join the Facebook group as all the information on topics is here, there is no info at all held on the Facebook page.
The Admins are now answering many straight forward questions [ where the poster may just need info from or directing to a relevant file] , via ‘p.m’s, [ Messenger ] so please look in your messages box under ‘recent ‘ or ‘message request’ for a message from Elaine Spencer or [ Doc ] Martin Redman if your post does not show up on the main Surgery page within an hour or so .
If you ask a question & the answer is in a group file ..you WILL be directed back here to read the file, this is done to save us repeating ourselves numerous times a day with repetitive & sometimes lengthy information.
Neither these files or the Facebook group are a business, there is no commercial gain for us, just a will as expat retirees ourselves in Turkey to offer FREE help & advice to fellow expats.
We give up our own personal time to assist strangers.
Before asking to join the Facebook group ,if you are a Turkish National [or appear to be by your user name] or a business of any kind, your application will be rejected. …..Also If you fail to answer the questions on the joining page your application WILL be rejected.
